DAISY PORTO MAKEUP

At a young grammar school age, I created my own makeup ‘palette’ out of an old photo album pretending to create looks on myself when I was barely tall enough to see myself in the mirror! As a teenager, I ‘borrowed’ my mom’s makeup and spent endless hours in my room re-creating makeup looks from the pages of all the popular teen magazines. Little did I know that years later my work would appear in one of them!!

Since those days, I have had the beautiful opportunity to work hundreds of weddings in NY and surrounding areas. I’ve worked a mix of campaigns and runway shows for designers such as Cynthia Rowley, Alice + Olivia, Romona Keveza, Yumi Katsura, Ydamys Simo, Andres Aquino and Alina Petra and have had the privilege of working with celebrities like Leeanne Locken, Lindsey Morgan, and Shaun Sipos, as well as National Women’s Soccer

League players Kaylie Collins and Celia Jimenez. My work has been featured in Seventeen Magazine, Sophisticated Weddings, as well as other smaller publications. I have also collaborated with major brands such as Phillips Electronics, Laura Mercier, Stila Cosmetics, Peach & Lilly, and Live Tinted.

My approach to makeup centers on enhancing natural beauty and highlighting each person’s unique features, rather than masking them.

I now work with a team of amazingly talented hair and makeup artists which allows me to accommodate any size wedding party, and I am truly so blessed and thankful for meeting each one of them on my journey.
